Chrome extension (do it yourself in the mean time)

I don't use a bookmark bar in chrome, so for the time being I have turned the bookmarklet into a chrome extension using this site: sandbox.self.li/bookmarklet-to-extension/ and it works fine.

I get warning: "There were warnings when trying to install this extension:
Support for manifest version 1 is being phased out. Please upgrade to version 2." What should I do?"

I need Chrome Extension, because i also don't use bookmark bars in already opened tabs.

I still have the same problem as mentioned on a separate thread:

        http://clipix.uservoice.com/forums/141770-suggestions/suggestions/2598014-clip-button-not-working-in-chrome

The "clever" workaround from this thread gets me to the pop-up screen to log-in and then select the clipboard. However, it just goes back to the same login screen without capturing the clip.

It seems to work in Safari and on my PC with Explorer. Is there a conspiracy theory afoot here that Clipix is boycotting the Google Chrome browser? Or have they not gotten around to giving working access to Chrome yet?
